HDTV 6000u Receiver from Dish Network

The HD 6000u receiver additional features:

• Delivers standard definition (SD) and high definition (HD) satellite programming.

• Outputs both 720p and 1080i HDTV resolutions.

• Interface compatible with the widest range of today's HDTVs using Component Video (Y,Pr,Pb) and 15-Pin VGA type RGB outputs.

• HD and SD content can be viewed from the HD video outputs (SD content is up converted to the selected HD resolution.)

• SD and HD content can be viewed using the SD (composite and S-Video) outputs (HD content is down converted to the SD 480i resolution.) Therefore, fully compatible with standard definition TVs.

• Five methods to display a non-HD 4:3 image on a 16:9 HDTV screen: Black bars, Gray bars, Zoom, Stretch, and Partial Zoom. Grey bars help prevent burn-in, the latter three eliminate risk of burn in.

• Capable of receiving HBO HDTV & Showtime HDTV broadcasts using a 2nd dish

• Upgradeable, capable of receiving analog and digital HD Over the Air (OTA) broadcasts.

• 8VSB tuner offers seamless switching between terrestrial analog, digital, SD satellite and HD satellite programming.

• Dolby Digital/PCM digital to slink style optical output.

• UHF/IR 4 component remote control.
