I do understand the frustration.
The only thing i can imagine is that the phone rep had been able to get a couple installs scheduled in that quick of a time frame, but by the time you called those dates were all taken with out the phone reps knowledge.
I will send them an email and see if i can find out something, but i can say they are a good honest company.

I had a bad experience with dishpronto. I signed up for a 18 month contract based on their promotion of a $1000 shopping spree. I questioned the rep as to how this is possible,but he assured me that this is genuine and not a fraud.
After 6 months of dish service and 3 months after submitting the required forms, I am yet to see anything related to this promotion. When i call, they take all the account info, promise to email the dept concerned and that someone will be in touch in 48 hours. Never happens. Twice I was transferred to the dept and the call mysteriously disconnected. Online chat - same promise, nothing happens.
I cannot find the company in BBB. However I have filed a complaint with BBB.
I am now sending a letter through my lawyer. Hopefully that will wake them up.
This offer seems to be unrealistic. 18 month service means 35*18=$630. How can they give away 1000?
So those thinking of ordering from dishpronto, beware of this possible fraud promotion.
FYI: I have removed Dish Pronto from the recommended Retailers list. I did this for multiple reasons including the ones above.
I was able to get Tapas (the poster above) thier shopping spree voucher, but they informed me it was not a very good deal because of the shipping charged associated with the spree.
One thing to note, when a retailer offers a shopping spree or a free dvd player, you should not expect it to be top of the line.
