Continued emails from mary about the Dish 625

Thanks for answering my e-mail! I have a question about Dish 625. I have my DVD player hooked up to my satellite box in my second room because my TV in that room is old. If I would choose to movie to dish network and get their 625 receiver how would I hook up my DVD player to it? Also I have wire coming into my bedroom from the satellite, but would they have to still run another wire from the 625 receiver for the second TV to work? I guess it’s a little bit confusing to me! Thanks Mary

My Reply:

Mary, I think this should answer your question..

When you use the 625 DVR Receiver, it could be placed on your main TV or your second TV…it really doesn’t matter. So, if for some reason you needed the receiver on the second tv because of an odd hook-up situation you can do that. If you did do that then The installer could use the existing wire as long as it was good and RG-6 cable. Then the installer would install a wire from the receiver in you bedroom to your other TV and they would work independently.

If you did need the installation this way, you would want to inform the installer so he would understand what and why. It would still be considered a stammered installation just a little backward from the norm.

I think and hope this answered your question and if you have another please let me know.
