This is what i did with that promotion. Now… i am almost positive that your whole system is outdated and will need new receivers and a new DISH. You would need to ask about two promotions. 1st, the DISH 500 upgrade. i am thinking in 1997 they did not have the DISH 500…so if you get the upgraded dish you will be able to get more channels. 2nd you need the DISH-n-it-Up Promotion… this will allow you to upgrade your receivers and even get a DVR. This promotion requires you to be in good standing with DISH. What i mean is as long as you pay your bill on time you should qualify. Getting these two promotions would also require you to commit to at least one year of service. Not a big deal for me because i planned on keeping DISH Network anyway. So.. you need to call DISH directly and ask about the “Dish 500 Upgrade” and the “DISH-n-it-Up Promotion”. If you use this number (Existing DISH Customer Number) 1-866-668-8047 , you can bypass all the automation stuff and a rep will answer.
